Bloomingdale Avenue School’s first and second grade students experience art every week for forty minutes.  We are doing projects that teach the basic elements of art: line, shape, color, form and texture.

In first grade we will explore what will happen when we mix primary paint colors.  We will learn about form when we make clay and wooden sculptures.

In second grade we will learn about printmaking, silk painting as well as paper making.  There are many exciting projects in our future guaranteeing a very exciting, fun and productive year.
