Memorable Accomplishments 2006-2007
 Cranford's Varsity
Baseball Team captured the 2007 Union County Championship by defeating
Governor Livingston by a score of 7-1 in Linden. The boys, along with
coaches Dennis McCaffrey, Brian Chapman, Kevin Feeley, and Ryan Matlosz
did
an outstanding job representing CHS.
Congratulations to the members of the Girls Varsity
Softball
team for winning the 2007 Union County Championship. They defeated Linden with a score of 13-0 on Saturday night. Coach Bruno and Coach Huber represented the team with class and sportsmanship.
The 2007 CHS Spring Track Girls Team has won the Mountain Valley Conference Individual Championships. Congratulations girls!
The Girl's Track Team has won the Union County Relay Championships! This competition took place on Thursday and Saturday, May 3rd and 5th, 2007, both at the Westfield and Plainfield tracks. Congratulations!
The 2007 CHS Spring Track Girls Team has won the Mountain Valley Conference Relay Championships. The competition took place on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 1st and 2nd, 2007, at Governor Livingston. Congratulations to all the girls who participated and worked together to achieve this great honor.

Congratulations to the following swimmers who were recognized by the Star Ledger:
Allison Schneider-3rd team All Union County (500 yard freestyle)
Sean French- 2nd team All Union County (100 yard freestyle)
The Girl's Indoor Track Team placed 2nd overall in the Union County Individual Championships on Wednesday, February 7, 2007.
- Laura Gallo placed 1st in the 2 mile race. Congratulations Laura, Union County Champion!
- Kara Stull and Shantia Smith both jumped 5 feet in the High Jump, placing 2nd and 3rd overall. They earned 14 points for their team.
Our CHS Swim Team participated in the Mountain Valley Conference Championships on Sunday January 21, 2007. The
boys team finished 4th place out of 9 teams, the girls were 6th out of 10
teams.
- Sean French won first place in the 50 yard freestyle (out of 30 entries)
and captured 3rd in the 100 yard butterfly as well.
- Allison Schneider came in 2nd place out of 31 for the 200 IM and 2nd for
the 500 yard freestyle as well.
- Danielle McAuliffe came in 2nd for the 100 yard butterfly and had a
personal best time.
- The boys 200 yard freestyle relay finished 2nd place (Mike Walano, Mark
Bagniewski, Joe Cooney, Sean French).
- Haley Brown took 6th in the 100 yard breast stroke followed in 7th by
- Natalie Laucius (out of 31 entries).
- Mark Bagniewski captured 3rd place in the 100 breast stroke and had a
personal best time.
Girl's Varsity Soccer Team has won the Mountain Valley Conference Championships! Congratulations girls!
