Social Studies Honor Society
Advisor- Ms. Podbelski
The Social Studies Honor Society is comprised of students in grades 11 and 12 who have demonstrated an outstanding academic record in required history courses and who have taken a minimum of two social studies electives. In addition, in order to be inducted into the Honor Society, the student must have a member of the Social Studies Department support his or her application. The student applicant should also be involved in at least one of the co-curricular activities related to Social Studies.
Mock Trial
Advisors- Mr. Caverly & Mr. Mamrak
The Mock Trial Club participates
as a team in the Union County Bar Association. Students take the
roles of lawyers, witnesses, and jury members; they also prepare and deliver
the case in a courtroom before actual judges.
