French Club
Advisor- Ms. Becker
Membership is open to any student,
grades 9-12, who is interested in learning about the French people, French
culture and civilization. Activities consist of dramatics, games,
singing French songs, guest speakers, slides, parties and joint meetings
with other clubs.
French Honor Society
Advisor- Ms. Becker
The purpose of the French Honor
Society, an affiliate of the National Society Honoraire de Francais, is
to recognize high achievement in French students of Cranford High School
and to promote interest in French culture. A student who has maintained
an honor average in the study of French in French III, IV, or V is eligible
for membership.
German Club (Deutschklub)
Advisor- Ms. Stawnychy
Membership is open to any student
grades 9-12, who is interested in learning about German and German culture.
Activities include field trips, parties, picnics, fund raisers, singing
German songs and eating German foods.

Latin Club
Advisor- Ms. McGuire
Membership in the Latin Club
is based upon a desire to join and participate in the fun filled ceremony
prescribed by the club. The purpose of the organization is to further
an interest and appreciation of the classics through club programs, lectures,
and field trips to plays, museums, etc. The Latin Club is affiliated
with other clubs statewide and nationally. One highlight of the year
is attendance at the state convention held every year at a different high
school in New Jersey.

Spanish Club
Advisor- Ms. Burton & Ms. Osborne
The Spanish Club welcomes students interested in learning
about Spanish speaking countries and understanding the people and the culture
of other nations. Activities include a piñata party, preparation
of Spanish foods and field trips.
Spanish National Honor Society
Advisor- Ms. Crocamo
The purpose of the Spanish National Honor Society is
to recognize high achievement in Spanish by students of Cranford High School
and to promote continuity of interest in the Hispanic culture. A
student who has maintained an honor average in the study of Spanish in
Spanish III, IV, V is eligible for membership.
