Peer Development Program
August 2007
To All Cranford High School Freshman
Welcome to Cranford High School. This year you will be involved in a Peer Development Program as your freshman health requirement.This program is designed to assist you in making the transition from eighth grade to Cranford High School a positive one.
In Peer Development, approximately fifty juniors and seniors who have experienced a peer leadership training class will lead small group discussions with you once per week during your physical education period. Hopefully, in these small groups you will discuss more openly problems that you are feeling or will face.
Facilitators will serve in a Big Brother/Big Sister capacity. You will meet your Peer Pal on the first day of school.

All activites and discussions will be monitored by the faculty advisors and students on the Peer Development Steering Committee.
