Scheduling News: A new Program of Studies Guide has been printed that lists the
courses that will be offered for the 2006-2007 academic year. Be sure to take the
time to read through all of the many new and exciting courses that each department
has added to challenge your interest and intellect. The back of the guide has a four
year planning page. Take time
to sit with your parents and to discuss your scheduling options for the next few
years. When you are called down to plan your schedule for next year have a good
idea of your selections. Plan some alternate requests just in case a course does not
run. Enrollment in our courses determine how many sections are offered in the
master schedule. Discuss honors courses and any other special programs that you
would like to consider with your parents and teachers prior to your scheduling
appointment. If you would like your parents to attend your scheduling conference,
simply indicate that fact to your counselor as soon as possible. Scheduling
conferences begin in January for grade 8 and February and March for 11th, 10th and
9th grade students. |
