  • The essay contains five (5) paragraphs and three (3) organized body paragraphs each devoted to a separate area that reflects how a character lived a life of consequence
  • Student produces and in-class essay that does not fulfill all requirements but does show a clear understanding of how a character lived a life of consequence.
  • Essay is not completed OR
  • Essay does not reflect on an understanding of the character's life of consequence
 
Service
  • Student participates in an ongoing service learning project
  • Student provides proof of participation in service project through an authorizedsignature
  • Student writes a clear type-written reflection of his/her meaningful service experience
  • Student participates in an ongoing service learning project
  • Student provides evidence through either an authorized signature or their written reflection of meaningful participation in his/her service learning project.
  • Project is incomplete OR
  • Project is not submitted
