What you are to do:

Complete a timed essay in English class sometime in April (date will be announced).

This five paragraph essay will ask you to discuss one of the literary characters you have studied during the year. This discussion will focus on the character's motivation with regard to a "Life of Consequence."

Your essay should include three body paragraphs, each devoted to how the character studied reflects a "Life of Consequence."

Pay particular attention to the characters you study this year and keep this essay in mind. Your teacher will help you by teaching you the skills and organization necessary for success.
