In this part of your project you will identify a concept from your history class that relates to diversity and tolerance. You will write a reflective essay detailing how the concept relates to diversity and/or tolerance.

Today

   In this portion of the project you will explore an issue of diversity and tolerance that is more current. Your U.S. History I teacher will distribute a reading concerned with diversity and tolerance in the the 21st century. There will be questions for you to answer regarding the reading.

Tommorow

   This portion is the Service Learning component of your project. You will be responsible for creating or participating in an activity that focuses on diversity and tolerance. You may work with a partner or a group of students to complete the task. You will complete the Action Plan for Service in advance to inform your teacher of your intent. A list of suggestions is included in your packet or you may complete an activity of your own choosing. Complete and submit the Service Learning Form to fulfill this part of the project.
