How to Recycle:

Materials to Recycle- Paper, plastics (type 1&2), rubber, tires, newspaper, junk mail, cardboard, glass, aluminum cans/foil/pie plates, batteries, latex paint cans, ink cartridges, steel/tin cans, magazines
How to Recycle- To recycle newspaper and magazines bind piles with twine and place on the curb. For other paper items, tie together or place in a bag. A large can is sufficient for items such as glass bottles/jars, plastic bottles/jars and cans. These items can be recycled curbside, on alternate Tuesdays. A permit is not required for any of the aforementioned items, motor oil, motor oil filters, household batteries, and hardcover or paperback books. A permit is required for grass, brush and yard waste. Check here for hazardous waste acceptance dates and acceptable materials for these collections.
