Green Fluorescent Protein - Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP) naturally
occurs in jellyfish. It is a noninvasive fluorescent marker. GFP is
excited by blue light. University students, James Murphy, Colin Gates and
Selwyn Delgado collaborated with Kean University professors, Dr.
RaymondSullivan and Dr. Charles Murphy on their research. Chime software
assisted
the students in this research. They
presented their work at Kean University's poster presentations on April
26, 2006.

Mrs. Carroll's AP English Language and Composition class works each year
on a year long research project where students explored a theme of
interest to them in literature. Hours of research and reading produced
papers that develop and prove a thesis. Please email Mrs. Carroll at
carrollb@cranfordschools.org if you would like further information on any
topic. Click Here for abstracts of the students' work from 2005-2006 and
