On behalf of the CHS PTA Board, I would like to welcome you to the 2011-2012 school year. A special welcome goes out to our Freshman class and their families, as well as any new students and families to Cranford High School. Our thoughts continue to be with all of our CHS families who suffered the devastating effects of Hurricane Irene.

I would first like to thank Barbara Fisher for her many years of volunteerism and dedication to the students of Cranford, and most recently, as last year's PTA President. Thanks for your continued leadership and guidance...you're a tough act to follow! I welcome Janet Gurman and Stephanie Hensel to the CHS PTA Board and thank Felicia Van Ostenbridge, Elisabeth Lynch and Anna Delayo for their continued dedication. Also, our PTA newsletter, with all of its valuable information, would not be possible without very dedicated people. Thanks to Jen Furer, for her many years as Editor, and to Maureen Foye who has graciously accepted this important role. Our first newsletter will be coming out soon.

Thank you to all of the families who have already sent in their PTA membership form. Last year, through your membership and generous donations, we were able to award four PTA scholarships, as well as support the teachers' luncheons and more. Please consider joining!

We encourage you to become involved and support the many wonderful activities that are offered at Cranford High School. Please feel free to contact any of us with any questions or suggestions. Thank you in advance for your support. Best wishes to everyone for a great school year!
