Quilting Raffle
The Relay For Life is an overnight event whereby teams for students,
faculty, friends, family, co-workers, organizations, and neighbors form
in
honor or in memory of those who have been touched by cancer. Fundraising
in advance of the event, the teams from the Cranford Community will come
together on May 16th on Memorial Field. We kick off the night with our
first lap dedicated to our cancer survivors. We will Celebrate their
strength and there courage. They are our STARS of Relay.
As the sun
sets
and darkness falls, we take time to Remember those we've lost during our
powerful Luminaria Ceremony. After these moments of reflection, our
Relayers settle in for a night of fun, games, and comaraderie. Our
relayers take turns walking the track all night reminding us that cancer
never sleeps, and neither will we. As morning arrives, we Relay into our
new day and Fight Back against the disease that has taken the lives of so
many.
