Ask Jeanine
Dear Jeanine,
I always get
really nervous for tests. I study, but then I just freak out! Do you have any
study skills?
Nervous Nellie
Dear
Nellie,
You
just need to chill out. For vocabulary, make flash cards. For math, make sure you
know what you are doing. If you are not positive, go to your teacher before or
after school and ask them any questions you may have about the subjects. For
any subject, you can just keep reading over the notes and highlight anything
important. Don’t cram the night before a test. Study as soon as you find out
you have a test. Relax. You’ll do fine.
Dear Jeanine,
I am freaking out
for eighth grade math finals! How can I ace them?
Final Freak
Dear
Final,
As
I just told Nervous Nellie above you, chill out. Finals are in June. Maybe even
start going over things from the beginning of the school year now. Studying
never hurts!
Dear Jeanine,
I always forget
my homework at home! How can I remember to bring it with me?
From…um…I forgot!
Dear
Forgetful,
This
one is simple. First of all, don’t ramble on to your teachers with excuses
galore. That will just agitate them. Go to Target and buy a folder. Tada! You
now have a place to keep your homework.
