Special Education Full Day Preschool-Mrs. Longo
Spring has brought many exciting learning opportunities for the students. In circle, they have learned about colors using flower shaped cutouts. The weather bear has brought out his rain gear and the kids had fun identifying the rainy weather. The children continued to learn about the weather and environment by doing fine motor activities, such as cutting and pasting to make kites, ducks, and rain drops. The children celebrated Arbor Day and Earth Day by attending an assembly and planting a tree with the school.
Special Education Full Day Primary Grade -Ms. Austin
Spring is a great time to get outdoors and explore. With the garden blooming, the students have been outdoors, digging in the dirt and examining changes in the environment. They have explored concepts about the environment, changes in weather, and spring celebrations in circle. They participated in the Arbor Day festivities by attending an assembly and tree dedication and also enjoyed the second graders choral performance. The students have begun work on safety skills, especially as they are outside in the great warm weather!
