SNAPPY/READY

                                                    

 

This spring, some of the units that the SNAPPY/READY children will be learning are:  insects, planting, flowers and nursery rhymes.  We’ll do lots of crafts, songs, finger plays with caterpillars and butterflies. 

In May, we will be taking a trip to the Turle Back Zoo and we will be seeing farm and zoo animals.

We will also have a wonderful Mother’s Day Tea and Show.  We’ll end the year with a big picnic celebration.

A Support Group for Parents of Special Needs Students

 in the Preschool and Primary Grades

 Parents Helping Parents is a Support Group for parents of Special Needs Students in Preschool and the Primary Grades.

 The group generally meets twice per month and addresses topics/ issues of particular interest to parents of our youngest students.

All meetings take place at Walnut Avenue School.  Thursday meetings are held in the evening, 6:30 – 8:00 PM.  Friday meetings take place in the morning 9:00 – 11:00 AM.

No long term commitments are necessary.  The group always welcomes new members.
