Ms. Moreale and Mrs. Nudelman are the Club Advisors for the BAS Coding and Engineering Clubs.
Students will learn or build on the basics of computer science coding that will nurture their creativity and develop their problem solving skills.
Grade 1 students will program robots called BeeBots to move from point to point in a hands-on experience in addition to gaining exposure to actual computer language technology that allows them to code for movement and action of characters
Grade 2 students will continue to program robots called BeeBots as they did in First Grade Club, expand their coding knowledge with online applications, and receive an introduction to Scratch Jr.
Students interested may participate in 1 of 2 club sessions that meets 5 times.
Meeting dates are usually on a Wednesday, though some dates may fall on a Tuesday or Thursday.
Students will meet from 2:40-3:40.
