RECOMMENDATION CHANGES FOR 2018-2019
Teachers have revisited their recommendations for the 2018-2019 school year. By mid May, parents and students should log into Powerschool to review updated course requests.
Course level waivers are available in the CHS Guidance Office as of Monday, May 1. You will receive a printed list of scheduled courses in July. Schedules with room and teacher assignments will be viewable in PowerSchool at the end of August.
SENIOR EXIT SURVEY: TUESDAY, JUNE 12
On Tuesday, June 12 and Wednesday, June 13, seniors will be asked to complete a Senior Exit Survey during school. Students should report to their phys ed class for attendance and then to the guidance office to meet with their school counselor. Students will be asked to report the following information: (1) the admissions decisions from the colleges to which they applied, (2) the intended path after graduation (college, employment, military, etc.)
Final transcripts will be sent electronically through Naviance. If students are planning on attending college that is not an eDocs school, students must submit a stamped envelope (addressed to the college) on June 10 so that the CHS Guidance Office can send the final transcript. Acceptance to college is conditional on the final transcript being received.
*If students are absent or participating in the Senior Service Program, they should see their counselor as soon as possible to complete this survey and submit an envelope.
