• Cranford High School will be offering the Preliminary School Aptitude Test/National Merit School Qualification Test (PSAT/NMSQT) to all interested college-bound sophomores and juniors at Cranford High School on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 7:45 am at no cost to students.   College Board is not offering a Saturday administration of the test this year, and there is no make-up test for students who are absent or on a field trip.  If you prefer your child not take the PSAT/NMSQT, there is no academic or attendance penalty, but please send an email to Mrs. Lisa Burfeindt in CHS School Counseling titled “PSAT Opt-Out” with your child’s name and grade by August 18, 2018.  CHS will follow a delayed opening schedule and students not testing should report to school by 11:00 am.  

    This test measures critical reading, math reasoning, and writing skills and is preparation for students planning to take the SAT 2019-2020.  Please click on the links below to learn more:

    Testing room locations will be distributed prior to October 10.  On the day of the test, students are to bring two #2 pencils.   Students may bring a calculator: four-function, scientific, or graphing models are acceptable.
