2023 K-8 Suggested Summer Reading Titles curated by district Library Media Specialists. This list is includes award winners and titles specific to Middle School beginning on page 18.  The opening pages illustrate how to access free or low-cost digital texts from various platforms including the Cranford Public Library.

 

Students entering grade 9 in the fall should be certain to look at the Cranford High School website to find information about required summer reading assignments.

New Jersey Student Learning Assessment

Each grade level contains a set of all three tasks, the Narrative Writing Task, the Research Task, and the Literary Analysis Task in both computerized and paper formats, with different accomodations.
