GRADE 6 SERVICE PROJECT

EMOJI BINGO     GRADE SIX

Giving up one's time is considered one of the most selfless acts someone can do, and that's exactly what approximately 30 members of the H.A.S. family did this Saturday, January 26, 2019.  Mr. Fichter, our 6th Grade Science teacher, brought the students, family members and H.A.S. staff to residents to Cranford Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center for a winter-themed social.  Students were able to show off their creativity by making paper snowflakes with the residents, while also spending time having meaningful conversation during a game of EMOJI BINGO.  Activities coordinator from the center, Sophia Dumerand, has been very supportive of the relationship that has grown over the years between H.A.S. and her residents. She and Mr. Fichter both look forward to hosting more socials in the future.  Thank you to all those who took the time out of their weekend to spend a little time with members of our Cranford community, and be on the looout for more opportunities in the coming months!
