Dear Cranford Families,
This has been a profoundly difficult time for our community. As we continue to grieve and support one another, we know that many families are feeling a range of emotions. Please know that we see you, and we are here with you.
We remain in close communication with local and County law enforcement partners and are taking every measure to ensure that our schools continue to be safe, supportive places for students and staff.
Out of an abundance of caution, you will notice an increased police presence across our schools today. This is not in response to any specific threat, but rather a proactive step to provide additional peace of mind for our school community during this incredibly difficult time.
Our school counselors and support teams remain available to students and staff who may need someone to talk to. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your school’s principal or counselor if your child needs additional support.
Thank you for your continued partnership, trust, and care. The strength of our community is seen in how we show up for each other and I am deeply grateful for the way our families, staff, and students continue to do just that.
Sincerely,Scott Rubin
