Web Design 2-2021-2022 Assignments

This year, from June 3-6, the Bergen County Academies CTF team will be running BCACTF 3.0, a full-fledged cybersecurity capture the flag (CTF) competition for high schoolers similar to picoCTF. The Bergen County Academies (BCA) CTF club has spent the past several months writing tons of fun and unique problems, and it's finally ready to play!
 
If you’re looking for a way to explore cybersecurity, CTFs are perfect for you. Whether you are a CTF veteran or just learning how to code, CTFs are fun, intense, and engaging team competitions that put your skills to the test.
 
All US high school students are eligible for prizes from a pool of prizes worth $3000, so form a group of up to five friends and get ready to compete against other teams. If you’ve played many CTFs before, or even if you have never done a CTF in the past, BCACTF 3.0 will be a very enjoyable experience for all skill levels!

Now that you have presented your information, we are on to the next part of this project.  Updates.


Nothing is ever done, you just decide to take a break from working on it and present it.


Using the feedback you have received or will receive along with the things you learn in Web II in the meantime, you are going to update your resume project to present again in January.  The presentation will focus on the updates that you have made from the current version of the resume/portfolio. You will need to keep a copy of this version, and create a copy that you will then make modifications to.  In January you will bring both of them up to show us and talk about the updates that you have done in the next few months.

Fill this out, then print it out.  Make sure it is only one page long - you may have to adjust spacing but retain all information.


We will discuss and then sign it together.

I am out on Thursday, but I put this together for you to organize your information.  I would like you to get your top 2 (or 3) picks out of the 5 that you researched.  Fill in all of the information that you can on your choices.  Leave me a comment on the other two that didn't make the cut.

Now that you have completed the single page resume, it is time to start putting together that information into a website.  Utilize your previous assignments, the Internet, your neighbors, and build a website that showcases your web design skills while presenting your information in a clear and organized fashion.


Our plan is to present these projects next week.
