Please find below a list of recreational programs for persons with disabilities and special needs happening this month!

 

1. Yoga for Persons with Disabilities – Wednesdays, June 3^rd and 10^th from 5:30 pm to 6:15 pm at Trailside Nature & Science Center in Mountainside - For Union County residents of all ages

 

1. Art for All Abilities, from 5:30pm to 7:00pm - For Union County residents of all ages

• Tuesday, June 16^th at Plainfield Public Library
• Monday, June 22^nd  at Springfield Public Library

 

1. Sensory Friendly Safari Show – June 17^th at Trailside Nature and Science Center in Mountainside from 10 am to 11:30 am – For Union County Residents of all ages

 

1. Sensory Friendly Hike – Saturday, June 20^th at Trailside Nature & Science Center in Mountainside from 10 am to 11:30 am  - For Union County Residents of all ages, but caregivers must stay with the participant for the program

 

1. Basketball Clinic – New Program* at Anthony Signorello Roselle Park Youth Center in Roselle Park - For Union County residents ages 7 and up

• Friday, June 26^th from 7:00pm to 8:45pm
• Saturday, June 27^th from 9:00am to 10:45am

 

1. Registration is now OPEN For our  Sensory Friendly Summer Camp – August 17^th to 21^st pm at Trailside Nature and Science Center in Mountainside from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at Trailside Nature and Science Center in Mountainside - For Union County residents ages 12 to 21

 

Registration for these programs is free; however, registration is required at www.ucnj.org/opdsn-reg
