For federal aid you must complete the FAFSA. Register and complete the FAFSA. Date available is TBD.
After completing the FAFSA a FAFSA Submission Summary. This document summarizes the information submitted on the FAFSA application and provides details about the applicant's financial aid eligibility, including the Student Aid Index (SAI).
Financial Aid papers are sent to you from colleges stating the amount of aid you will receive: grants (free money), loans or student employment (Co-op program).
Many private colleges and universities will also families to complete the CSS profile. The CSS Profile is an online application used by colleges and scholarship programs to award non-federal institutional aid.
